Europe's n°1 livestock show
1,900 animals on show? It is from the 06th to the 08th of October at the Grande-Halle d'Auvergne exhibition grounds.
850 beef-breed cattle heads, 420 dairy ones, 350 sheep and 300 horses : to each category its ring for more show, more high-level competitions!
22 french and european bovine, 26 sheep, 16 horses breeds : the Sommet de l'Elevage will also host this year the national Charolais competition. 500 animals challenging in the prestigious Zenith show-room!
Among various events, note the interregional Holstein show, where more than 150 animals will be competing.
Also notice that a brand new hall will be set up for the sheep : outdoor surfaces and 1,500m² of covered area dedicated to herding demonstrations.
