ALLFLEXUltra Flex TST-L: Stress-Free DNA Sampling from Day One
As of today, the ULTRA FLEX TST-L is the only officially approved tissue sampling tag (TST) on the market that allows for genetic evaluation from ear biopsy samples. It is manufactured in France and can be ordered in the same way as conventional, electronic, and sanitary sampling (BVD) official tags.
It is applied at birth, enabling both animal identification and DNA sampling in a single step — unlike other solutions that require an additional procedure later on, often involving a technician (e.g., blood or hair sampling) and more intensive restraint than at birth. This results in greater stress for the animal and the farmer, and also poses a higher safety risk.

This twine absorbs piston shocks more effectively — 9.4% more energy (93 joules vs. 85 joules) — which reduces residual stress on the knot and eliminates the risk of slippage. At the same time, it offers 11.6% more length, enhancing efficiency and performance.
