The success of the Pronto DC system emerged from the continuous optimization of the technology used for each stage of the process. The Pronto’s design has already been proven worldwide and consists of three stages
Stage 1: Seedbed preparation
Thanks to high rotational speeds, the 46-cm-wide discs provide excellent mixing capacity while producing a significant amount of fine soil and leveling the seedbed.
Step 2: Firming
The in-line tire packer ensures optimal clearance and levels the soil, thereby creating uniform conditions in front of each seeding unit.
Step 3: Seeding
Seeding accuracy is guaranteed by the third-generation TurboDisc seeding unit. It delivers up to 125 kg of pressure and requires no maintenance. The double-disc unit forms the furrow; the seed is then distributed and pressed into the seed row by the Teflon tongue, after which the press wheel ensures optimal furrow closure.
This principle—combining intensive seedbed preparation, reconsolidation, and seeding—ensures uniform conditions for each seed and, consequently, uniform emergence.
