Shifters Auvergne is the regional branch of the Shifters, a volunteer network that relays and promotes the work of The Shift Project, the think tank chaired by Jean-Marc Jancovici and dedicated to decarbonizing the French economy. Active across the four departments of Auvergne (Puy-de-Dôme, Allier, Cantal, and Haute-Loire), they organize conferences, training sessions, and territorial resilience initiatives in partnership with local authorities.
Their agriculture working group focuses in particular on the decarbonization and resilience of livestock sectors, notably through the Great Farmers’ Consultation. Present at the Sommet de l’Élevage, they are here to share this work and engage with industry professionals on the levers for transformation in response to climate and energy challenges.
