A key player in the pig industry in the Grand-Est region: Based in the heart of the Rhône-Alpes, Auvergne, and Bourgogne-Franche-Comté regions, Massard is a major player in the regional pig industry, with over 110,000 slaughter pigs marketed each year. Our strength lies in a historical partnership with the SIREPP group, bringing together 50 member breeders, as well as a dedicated integration structure, facilitating the support and launch of new pig farming operations. We also own a 600-sow farrowing unit, ensuring a regular and secure supply for our own farms and those of our partners. Following a short supply chain and local value creation approach, 80% of our pigs are slaughtered in a regional abattoir, guaranteeing quality, traceability, and local roots.
