Description
RAPID is a Swiss company founded in 1929.
The manufacturer built its reputation in the 1960s through the production of motor mowers with mechanical gearboxes: the RAPID 505 model alone sold 55,000 units.
In 1990, RAPID anticipated the growing demand for compact, easy-to-handle equipment for parks, gardens, and mountain agriculture, and invested heavily in developing a range of hydrostatic single-axle tool carriers, followed more recently by remote-controlled brush-cutting robots and tracked tool carriers.
