The Limousin Association for Quality and Origin, known as LIMOUSIN PROMOTION, was created in 1988 to offer on the market a range of Limousin breed meats identified as top quality and guaranteed by a Red Label and/or a PGI. Today, it also manages pork and lamb production under Limousin SIQO.
LIMOUSIN PROMOTION, chaired by a breeder, is run by a board of directors made up of representatives from the upstream of the sector (Breeders, Producer Organizations) and downstream (Slaughterhouses).
