The Colombian Federation of Cattle Ranchers (FEDEGÁN) is the national professional organization representing the cattle farming sector in Colombia. Founded in 1963, it works to support the sustainable development of the beef and dairy value chain, while assisting livestock producers with animal health, genetics, innovation, productivity, and competitiveness.
FEDEGÁN also plays a major role in national vaccination programs, herd genetic improvement, farmer training, and the promotion of more sustainable and resilient livestock farming in the face of climate challenges.
A key player in livestock farming in Latin America, FEDEGÁN actively contributes to the international visibility of the Colombian cattle sector and to the development of exchanges between industry professionals worldwide.
