Description
The Pôle Bio Massif Central is a recognized public-interest association that works to promote the development of sustainable organic agriculture in the Massif Central.
It carries out organic agriculture research and development projects that can involve up to twenty partners (Chambers of Agriculture, producer groups, technical institutes, educational institutions, and research organizations). The association also disseminates essential knowledge to farmers and agricultural advisors and fosters collaboration to co-develop its initiatives with stakeholders in the Massif Central.
Every year at the Sommet de l’Élevage, the Pôle Bio, in collaboration with ITAB and the Thorigné-d’Anjou Experimental Farm, organizes “BioThémas,” a series of conferences dedicated to organic livestock farming and its practices.
