Description
Vicat is a family-owned French cement group operating in 12 countries, which designs and produces construction materials (cement, ready-mixed concrete, aggregates) derived from the mineral sector and increasingly focused on the circular economy. Since its origins in the 19th century with Louis Vicat, the inventor of modern cement, the group has relied on industrial know-how and continuous research to meet the needs of construction professionals and major projects. It also develops complementary solutions (mortars, finishing products, additives, construction systems) and is committed to a low‑carbon trajectory, integrating recycling, alternative energies and innovation such as 3D concrete printing in construction.
