Description
Rencontres Pasto: For the second consecutive year, the Sommet de l'Élevage hosts Rencontres Pasto, a must-attend event dedicated to French pastoralism. Organized by the Réseau Pastoral AuRA and the SIDAM, this event aims to strengthen the recognition of this sustainable farming method and promote exchanges between professionals, institutions, and territories.
In 2025, Rencontres Pasto continues its mission to promote pastoral practices by actively preparing for the international year of pastoralism announced by the FAO for 2026. Through conferences, workshops, and testimonials, this edition will highlight the current challenges of pastoralism and the policies to be developed to ensure its future.
