As discussions begin on the post-2027 CAP, the SOMMET DE L’ÉLEVAGE is placing the future of livestock farming at the heart of the European debate. Farmers’ incomes, support for grassland and pastoral systems, recognition of areas facing natural constraints, and the future of rural territories: this conference will compare the European Commission’s proposals with the realities and expectations on the ground. Bringing together representatives from European institutions, the agricultural sector and local territories, this key session will help decode the planned changes and discuss the conditions for a CAP capable of sustaining productive, sustainable livestock farming rooted in its territories for the future.
