The goal is to know how to assess a sick ewe or lamb in order to determine the appropriate course of action. There are nine key procedures to master, such as taking the animal's temperature and examining its droppings and urine. In this way, the farmer gains the fundamentals needed to prevent and better manage health issues, with the aim of reducing or making judicious use of antibiotics and antiparasitics.
