Bees play a vital role in crop pollination and biodiversity conservation, yet they are increasingly challenged by health and environmental pressures. This presentation will highlight why livestock farming systems and agricultural landscapes are essential allies in protecting pollinators. Drawing on field experience from beekeepers and results obtained from monitoring tens of thousands of honey bee colonies, we will present practical examples of disease prevention, colony support and collaboration between beekeepers and farmers to build more resilient agricultural systems.
