Information

The Thorigné-d'Anjou Experimental Farm, a mixed crop-livestock system with a herd of Limousin suckler cows, has been working for many years to optimize the management of its forage system—and in particular, to maximize the value of forage and grass through the feeding and finishing of suckler cows. Given the climate conditions we are experiencing in 2026, what have been the impacts and strategic implications for the farm? Julien Fortin and Pierre Buneau, from the Thorigné-d’Anjou Experimental Farm, will be here to present their findings.
