Certified organic in 2001, the suckler-finisher cattle system at La Ferme Expérimentale des Bordes has undergone several changes of varying significance: changes in crop rotation, farm expansion, and the use of external livestock manure. Twenty-five years later, a multicriteria analysis looks back at the impact of these changes on forage and protein self-sufficiency, soil fertility, and nutrient input-output balances.
