Information
The Thermopod project aims to develop and test a fixed, automated system for detecting hoof lesions in cattle and sheep using infrared thermography (IR). Its goal is to provide a solution capable of detecting hoof lesions in animals that are contained but not restrained, without lifting cattle’s feet or turning over ewes, in a reliable and safe way for both the animal and the farmer. Here, we present the first results.
