GESTAL QUATTRO OPTI ET MULTI
Description
Gestal Quattro – Dry Feed Dispenser for Sows in Farrowing
The Gestal Quattro is an automatic dry feed dispenser for sows in farrowing, delivering feed four to six times per day. A wireless connection to the farm’s computer enables highly accurate monitoring and alert control.
The sow requests her feed using a meal trigger located in the trough near the feed drop. This way, a healthy sow can eat according to her appetite without wasting, while a sick or low-appetite sow will leave feed in the hopper.
A control keypad on the front panel includes various command buttons and indicator LEDs with color codes showing the sow’s feeding status (the same color codes as those used on the defined feeding curves).
Daily intake monitoring and analysis
Each unit records a sow’s daily feed intake. With detailed reports, you can ensure all sows have eaten enough and adjust their feeding curves if necessary.
High-quality, durable product
Designed by pig producers for pig producers, our products are sturdy and smart. All Gestal products are pressure washable and certified IP66 and NEMA 4X (waterproof and resistant to extreme conditions).
Energy savings
No extra electrical installation is needed—lamps and heating pads plug directly into the Gestal Quattro. Guided by a probe, it adjusts the piglet nest temperature daily according to a curve, reducing power consumption while improving litter performance and comfort.
