Description
The Volvo Penta D5 is a 5.1-liter, in-line 4-cylinder industrial engine, available with different emission levels:
- EU Stage II / EPA Tier 2
- EU Stage IIIA / EPA Tier 3
- EU Stage V / EPA Tier 4 Final
Depending on the version, its power output ranges from 105 to 175 kW (143 to 238 hp). It delivers high torque at low engine speeds and features a compact design that facilitates installation and servicing.
Designed for demanding off-road applications, the D5 is well suited to agricultural, forestry, material handling and specialized equipment.
