Description
The Volvo Penta D8 is a 7.7-liter, in-line 6-cylinder industrial engine, available with different emission levels:
- EU Stage II / EPA Tier 2
- EU Stage IIIA / EPA Tier 3
- EU Stage IV / EPA Tier 4 Final
- EU Stage V
Depending on the version, its power output ranges from 160 to 250 kW (218 to 340 hp). It delivers high torque at low engine speeds and features a compact design that facilitates installation and servicing.
Designed for demanding off-road applications, the D8 is well suited to agricultural, forestry, material handling and specialized equipment.
