Description

AXEMA brings together manufacturers and experts who design the equipment, technologies and solutions essential to agriculture, forestry, green spaces and local communities, and to their transitions. With 270 members representing 95% of the French market by turnover, AXEMA represents a strategic industrial sector, 64% of which is made up of SMEs and micro-enterprises. The sector accounts for 28,000 direct jobs, more than 250 production sites across France, and €15.6 billion in turnover in 2025. Innovation is a key driver of the industry: AXEMA members invest, on average, more than 5% of their annual turnover in R&D. As a highly technological and innovative industry, the sector ranks as France’s second most technology- and innovation-intensive industrial sector, after aerospace.
