Airbus operates Farmstar, a pioneering and leading solution for crop fertilisation management, which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. Airbus has also operated the Grassland Production Index (GPI) since 2016, a satellite-based index validated by the Ministry of Agriculture, which allows insurers to assess grassland production losses caused by weather events and trigger compensation where applicable.
