The Moulins-Engilbert Cadran Market is located at the gateway to the Morvan, in the Heart of the Charolais Breed. Since 1983, SICAFOME has been organizing electronic auctions for cattle, sheep, and selected breeding animals. SICAFOME owes this diversification of activities to a highly competitive array of equipment, always at the cutting edge of innovation. In fact, SICAFOME is equipped with:
- two fully computerized electronic auction rooms, featuring a data board and 56 buying stations in the first room, and 60 clickers in the second;
- as well as mobile auction equipment (easy to set up and flexible to use) with 80 buying stations.
It’s a benchmark market for the lean cattle sector (especially for the Charolais breed). It’s the top market in France for the number of animals sold. Over 62,500 animals were sold in 2025 thanks to 1,200 sellers and more than 270 buyers.
